Café Mirage, Kennedy Commons

Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to check out a café outside of the Durham Region called Café Mirage, located at Kennedy Commons in Scarborough. The day was drizzling and the wind was cold; a perfect afternoon to spend inside the cozy atmosphere of this GTA date spot.

Café Mirage was recommended to me more than once, but serves best for the romantics, I think. The chairs are big and comfy, and the desserts are large … too large for any one person to finish alone. But their selection and service is fabulous. So, if you and your hunny usually have trouble picking a treat to split, you shouldn’t have a problem at Café Mirage. I was born with a sweet tooth (a curse, really, especially if you’re trying to stay healthy), and there was a few options that really enticed me. Unfortunately, I will have to taste those another day.

  1. How i love our date days!! 🙂 Great food with great company!

And for anyone who is wondering: That cold chocolate beverage is indeed alcoholic and very delicious 😉

  2. Sounds like you had a great date. Spending a morning in a café is always inspiring, for the coffee or whatever you buy of course, but also because of the people you meet in the café. The two photos you took at the café are both enticing, as well as the lovely Instagram.

  3. The coffee looks great… the portrait of the beautiful girls is better than the cream in the coffee… you can bring an old man on your next date Emily… the treats sound delicious 🙂

    1. Haha Thanks Peter! If you’re ever in the Toronto area, totally let’s all go to a coffee shop. I haven’t been to one in just over a week, so I gotta get back out there!

    1. Ha thanks Phil! Spending times with my friends is always time never wasted, and since starting this blog I’ve been lucky enough to grow closer to a lot of people. And documenting our outings is a great way of remembering good times, too!
