Octobers: a visit to Pingles Farm Market

One of the things I love most about the Fall is the beautiful colours.

This past weekend was Thanksgiving here in Canada, and after our turkey-induced comas, my cousin and I decided to go to Pingles Farm Market in Oshawa, and explore the pumpkin patch. Holiday Monday was incredibly busy on the farm, but it offered some fun family-fall activities, like wagon rides, baked goods and fresh fruits. And of course, your choice of pumpkin!

Here’s a little fall cheer for your October! Hope you have some time to get out and enjoy the weather and colours before it’s gone.

Last year, I also spent some time at Pingles Farm Market. Click here to see my previous photos.

  1. My favorite time of the year and one reason is for the pumpkins! I love to roast the seeds and this was the first year we made pumpkin soup to die for (with smoked salmon added).
