#WornProudly – Hudson’s Bay Olympic Merch

This weekend, the Olympics wrapped up — I have been pretty involved in watching it.

This year was an all-time record for Canada in the winter Olympics with 29 medals in total. Way to go Team Canada! My favourite events were the figure skating, specifically the ice dancing, team event and men’s long program.

This year’s fashions were pretty good too. I love the Olympic Closing Ceremony Jacket from Hudson’s Bay — it is actually SUPER comfy. And I also purchased the Announcement Jacket. Overall, I am happy with the purchases and even happier I got them for 40% off! If you’re still interested in the merch, I would buy this week as the stock is pretty much permanently gone.

Also — I have been thinking about volunteering for the Olympics. The summer ones are in Tokyo. Has anyone done it, and what did they think about it?

  1. it is a cool jacket

i didn’t have opportunity to watch the Olympics live because we have switched to Apple TV and with some of the apps, it isn’t possible to watch live. however, the Olympics either will be, or have already begun to be available to us so i will be watching at least portions.

it must have been a thrill to attend

wonderful collection of images in this post

  2. looks like you and your best friend enjoy your time together! The car ride looks like you both had lots of fun!

  3. Love the photos! That coat looks great on you! Tata looks very happy to be going on this adventure! Two happy girls! πŸ™‚

  4. You can be proud of your Canadian team, Emily. So can the Dutch, who came just behind the Americans (23) in the medal count at 20. For such a little country, they sure can pack a wallop! πŸ™‚ I think volunteering at any Olympics would be a fabulous experience. Just do it!

    1. I think the Olympics are a great way to bring all countries together, and such an amazing experience it would be to just be there as a volunteer. I can only imagine for now πŸ™‚
