Weekly Challenge: Insects

Despite how much I hate bugs, I decided to choose insects as this week’s photo challenge theme with ExP (Exposed Planet).

I shot this image with a Sigma macro zoom lens 70-300mm. It didn’t allow me to get super close to the butterfly, but I still think it came out quite cute and colourful.

My hometown

“When I see the lights of my hometown, I feel like the world stops spinning ’round. Everything makes sense, maybe it’s the innocence. I know it’s just a few miles down the road. I’m getting there as fast as I can go. I can always find peace of mind … in the lights of my hometown.” – Aaron Lines

Spring air

It reached an unusual high of 13 degrees Celsius today. Last year on this date, it peaked at – 1.7 degree Celsius. In light of the beautiful Spring-like weather, I took advantage of the sun and bicycled around Ajax. I hit a few trails, and tried to take some photos along the way.

Hey Jude

It’s too often we forget our blessings. Today I thank God for you, J. I’m so lucky to have you in my life; you’re like the sister I’ve never had. ILU.

“Remember to let her into your heart. Then you can start to make it better.”

Life is a gun

It’s a new year. That means a new beginning for many of us. This year, I will welcome new memories, say goodbye to the past, and always remember those I’ve loved, lost and perhaps left behind.
